The Children of William and Elizabeth Jenkinson Fulton
Frank Hayden Fulton
Born June 20, 1880 Died January 20, 1965

Frank H. Fulton was born in Waukegan on June 20, 1880. He was last of the children born to William and Elizabeth Jenkinson Fulton. Frank was a carpenter and building contractor. He lived his entire life in Lake County, ILL., except for the last two years he lived in retirement in San Diego, CA. Frank is listed as a carpenter in Waukegan City Directories of 1903 and 1908 and in the 1910 census. In the 1920 census Frank’s occupation is listed as Phonograph assembler and is living with his family at 1015 Pacific Ave. in Waukegan. In the 1930 census Frank and family are living on Poplar Street in Waukegan, occupation carpenter and building contractor. He later moved to Gurnee in Lake County. He was a life long member of Christ Episcopal Church of Waukegan.
Frank married Mabel Gilbert in Waukegan on April 28, 1904. He and Mabel apparently lived at the home of his parents William and Elizabeth Fulton, until at least 1908. William and Elizabeth left for Iowa sometime around the time Frank and Mabel were married. Frank and Mabel are living on County Street in Waukegan in 1910. Frank died in San Diego, CA., on January 20, 1975. Mabel died in Waukegan on December 18, 1970. Frank and Mabel are buried in Warren Cemetery in Gurnee, Lake County, ILL. Father Terry Fulton of Chico, CA., remembers his Grandfather Frank as a quiet soft-spoken nice man who in later years wore a hearing aid that he would switch off when the conversations became loud or unpleasant. Frank and Mabel had six children, all of whom were living at the death of Frank in 1965. Mabel’s obituary says she left 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
See the web site for Father Terry Fulton, Catholic Priest, a grandson of Frank H. Fulton. Father Terry looks alot like his Great Grandfather William Fulton 1833 - 1909. http://www.frterryfulton.org/
