The picture below was taken about 1894. It is of what my Grandmother called The Old Home Place on her Grandfather Alfred Christison's farm near the small town of Chestnut, Ill. Alfred and Seretta Christison and their children, sons in law and grandchildren as of late 1894 are all pictured except for eldest son Cicerco.

Standing from l-r: Dora Patterson b: July 1894; parents of Dora, Emma Rita Christison (1867-1941)and her husband John Patterson (1869-?); my Great Grandfather Richard Christison (1870-1963) still single in 1894; Ada Bell Christison (1877-1947); David (1870-?)and Laura Jude Christison Patterson (1874-1953) and their daugther Cora Patterson b: June 1894.

Seated from l-r: My Great Great Grandmother Seretta Whitaker Christison (1840-1914); Eva Jenevive Christison (1882-1918); My Great Great Grandfather Alfred Richard Christison (1842-1919)

My Great Grandfather Richard must have had very fond memories of growing up in this house as my Grandmother told when that her frequently went out to visit to Old Home Place, but after they tore in down he could never again go out to visit that farm.
